"High School Musical"
Presentation of Secondary 2 Loyalty and Sincerity
23 March 2008
The successful level drama which was based on the
movie High School Musical 3, was presented at the MPH. All of the Secondary 2
students worked very hard to produce this drama and despite the limited time, it
went quiet well. Amazingly, talents in this drama were able to show their best
as they delivered their lines and songs. This would not have been possible
without the hard work of my batchmates and support of our fellow SIS students,
parents, teachers and the SIS KG Management.

Traditional Dance and
Arts Festival
13 March 2009

The first TDAF sponsored by SIS KG was a huge success.
According to Mrs. Sue, people who were that night commented on it as a
“Classic.” Everyone involved in this project worked tremendously hard, with long
months of preparation spearheaded by Mrs. Nanwani, Mrs. Daswaney, Ms Amor and
all of the SIS Principals. This project would not be possible also without the
cooperation of all the teachers, students, staff and our dear sponsors.
People who came during the event proved
the immense success of the TDAF. The SIS KG lobby showcased the magnificent
works of students from the different SIS schools. Painting in the different
media focused on the theme “Astronomy.” The MPH served as the venue for
showcasing the traditional dances of the Asian region and the art auction. Mrs.
Gomez mentioned in her welcome remarks that she envisioned the event as a way to
uplift our cultural knowledge and respect for differences in our ways and
traditions should always be considered. The first presentation of the night was
Wu Shu from China. Students of SIS KG with their leaps and glides were
spectacular act for everyone. It was a domino effect that the rest of the
performances where truly amazing. Students from as far as Semarang and Medan
proved that distance was not a hindrance to a great show. Mr. John of SIS BV
marvelously enticed the audience to bid more as high as 6 Juta. Mrs. Nanwani in
her appreciation speech thanked everyone for the success of the first TDAF as
the proceeds of this event will benefit the Limbs for the Limbless.
